Excellent value!
Bought these for my stock. Have yet to use any, but seem to be decent quality.

Nice kit, good assortment.
All work fine so far, have tested about 20 of them.

Yes they have legible markings
I haven’t tested this useful set but I can confirm the legends on the parts are fully legible. At least the set I received. That review was worrying. Could have been a bad set or may need an eye appointment. If you are obsessive with critical value readings you ought to be buying fancier parts in the first place, my guess is these are probably roughly within the tolerances of your resistors you’d be adjusting them with anyway. Who knows the source voltages in that reviewer's case as well.

functional
These function as expected ... at least the three I've used so far have ... but they definitely feel lightweight as compared to the originals I've been replacing. I use these for 1980's arcade game repairs and they do work.

The regulator voltages are accurate.
So far I used 7805, 7812 and 7915. The voltages are very accurate with Fluke meter. Great kit to have and very handy.

Careful - at least some of these regulators will NOT provide one amp
This assortment is described above as being capable of one amp.A couple of caveats:o I have tested all of the 7805, 7812, and 7912 regulators in the set, and all of them shut down to about 2 volts when .75 amperes was exceeded (although one of the 7805 devices went into oscillation when .75 amperes was exceeded.) All tests were done with massive heat-sinking and precision current loads, and an input voltage that did not fall below the regulator's minimum input voltage. The regulators don't overheat, they just shut down.o There may be legends on these parts, but they are so faint I can't see them. So be careful which portion of the container you're getting your regulator out of, and TEST to be sure it's what you think it is before committing to solder and mount.Other than those two issues, this is a very handy assortment for the bench; certainly not every project needs a full ampere of supply current.. I'd love to find an assortment of actual one amp regulators, though.
