No issues, a good unit and feels solid. The retraction is good and it gives a lot of drying space. My only issue is the quality of the supplied screws, but this seems to be the same with everything now. Use your own quality screws and you’ll have no issues.

Strong yet lightweight twin cable retractable washing line. This was so easy and quick to install in the garden and looks more expensive that it was. I like the fact that it has two cables creating a total of 30m of washing line so you can hang out large sheets and bedding. Functions really well and feels durable to last well during all weather.

This looked sturdy out of the box, but after just 4 months of light use, it’s completely fallen apart. The plastic housing – which holds the entire mechanism together – cracked and gave way, making the whole unit useless. One of the retractable lines stopped working properly before that, constantly jamming and refusing to lock in place. Now it’s just a bulky, broken box hanging off the wall.There’s no clear return or warranty process, which makes it even worse. For something marketed as heavy duty, it’s shockingly flimsy. It’s a washing line, not a piece of precision equipment – it should at least last a year! Don’t waste your money or your time installing this.Want to throw in a bit more emotion or a specific suggestion for buyers?
