Much cheaper solution than HDFury Arcana
I use apple tv (and maybe a xbox in the future) + sonos arc and sony vpl-xw5000. And this works perfectly for splitting the signals to hdmi and hdmi earc to my projector and sound bar. Then only challenge is the volume control part. But I resolved it by adding an IR setup to the apple tv remote controller and used apple tv controller with this IR setup as volume control to setup arc volume control.I spent a lot of time on figuring out the solution to make them work together. And it was said the arcana was the only solution, but that was too expensive. This product perfectly resolve my case and much cheaper. This product is

Waste of money, it did not work!
Waste of my $109, it did not wok. Audio output Dolly atmos to my Sonos arc soundbar but failed to output video to an older 1080p tv. My advice is to avoid this one and look for the Corsahd 8k switch earc, the price is nearly the same but it works beautifully.

Sonos Arc + Projector + Apple TV + Atmos media = WORKS!
Relatively simple to set up. I have a cumbersome system with an Epson projector (no ARC) and Sonos surround system (which sounds great) and the most recent Apple TV. The only challenge for me was getting the volume control to sync with the apple TV remote and this may be because the projector is doing something strange through the HDMI connection. Regardless, the solution was to have Apple TV remove control the Sonos Arc directly through the infrared connection (instead of through the HDMI), then everything works fine. Big screen movies, amazing Atmos sound and this is the only reliable and affordable product I have found to make them all work together. I also like how their advertising materials clearly indicate what the product can and cannot do. And FYI, the build quality of this device is much better than the competing OREI product (the power failed on OREI after about 4 months for me, which is why I purchased this unit).

Works great!! (Update: no Atmos anymore??)
Giving this 5 stars because it works great to get Dolby Atmos to a Sonos Arc with an older non-eArc TV. I have a Chromecast Google TV 4K as source. Took a bit of trial and error, but basically you need to set the EDID to 4K7.1 so Chromecast thinks it's connected to a 4K7.1 system otherwise it won't send Atmos sound. The CEC function no longer works to control the Arc volume with the Chromecast remote, it just controls the TV volume and the sound bar is not connected directly to the TV so it doesn't get the volume control. However I was able to setup the Sonos Arc to read the IR signal from the Chromecast remote directly (configured in Sonos app) so remote volume control works. Minor annoyance of the direct IR volume control is that the volume display by the TV is not synchronized with the volume level of the soundbar. And if you control the soundbar volume via the Sonos app or using voice control, the volume display doesn't show on the TV at all.Update:Not sure why, but I'm no longer getting Atmos on the Sonos Arc. No change in setup. I used to get Atmos displayed on the Sonos app when I play Atmos content in Prime video, for example, Jack Reacher. Now it just says Dolby Digital 5.1. Tried rebooting everything and same issue. Subtracted 2 stars. It's still a great device that allows me to get 5.1 sound where I would only get stereo PCM otherwise (because of my old TV), but I bought this for Atmos and a little bit disappointed.

Works well with Bose sound bar 700
We purchased Bose Soundbar 900 with Epson Cinema 3200. We had challenge to make these two work as the Bose Sound bar is not designed to be used with projects having only one ARC/eARC HDMI port. Epson Cinema 3200 blue tooth doesn't connect with Soundbar 900 as it is not meeting the standard set by Epson projector. This device having two ARC/eARC port one for Soundbar and another TV out worked perfectly fine. Strongly recommend to get the best of the projector and Bose Soundbar 900. We added Bose Bass Module 500 and pair of Bose Smart 300 rear speakers.

It did work well, but not for my purposes
This works well to get Dolby Atmos to work with an Apple TV-4K! Worked after I changed a few settings. However, my TV does not have Dolby Vision and that was the reason this product wouldn’t satisfy my needs. It did work for what it says it does though! I returned it because of my lack of Dolby Vision.

Cut-outs are deal-killer
Audio cuts out all the time, just for a moment, even after I bought new cables. I had to throw it out and get an Arcana.

Superior HDMI 2.0 Splitter: A Clear Winner for eARC Extraction
After a disappointing experience with a different brand, I discovered this HDMI 2.0 Splitter, and it's been a revelation. The 4K 60Hz capability delivers crisp, seamless visuals, while the ARC/eARC support is ideal for an Apple TV, projector, and Sonos soundbar integration, enhancing my audio experience significantly. Its bi-directional switch for 1 in 2 out or 2 inputs is incredibly user-friendly and efficient. It's undoubtedly the best product for e-arc extraction on the market, offering unparalleled quality and reliability. The quality of the connectors is very good, and the metal body is compact and solid. A robust and reliable choice for anyone seeking the best in the market.
