I was introduced to this use of this particular wax for removing that film on headlights in Okinawa Japan. It did a great job and you can buy it for only $10 compared to other kits that are gonna cost you between 20 and $80 to clean headlights.

The pop in color that you get back actually lasts for a year but the water protection fades in about 6 months . Easy on- easy off. I recommend a thorough decontamination wash before applying.

Have not used any Nu Finish in many years but wanted to try this new version to get a showroom shine back for 2018 Accord Touring. Had only used spray on, wipe off products before on this vehicle previously. Much to my surprise, this stuff really did the job. Goes on easy, and comes off easy if you dont let it set to long.I used an electric buffer but this helped me get the best shine I have seen on this car since I first bought it. Cut through 7 years of oxidation, covered up minor swirls in paint. Now VERY shiny. Cant speak to long term durability yet.

This NU Finish car wax is awesome. my son used it on his friends 250,000 Porsche Carrera and it still looks great several washing later. This wax is almost magic for its ease of application. Simply rub it on and hand buff it off. You can use a power buffer if you have some oxidation and it will put a shine on your car or boat that will amaze you. I use it every year before I go to the beach to fish for a month. I wash the salt mist off my car every evening and it still looks great at the end of the month. I used it on my sons 2006 black Yamaha boat that had a fair bit of oxidation, and it was just awesome at making the boat shine like it was wet. I used a Makita buffer for that application and it worked perfect.

I have been using this for years and love it. It is very easy to apply and wipe off as well. Long lasting shine.

Good on Old Paint, but DON'T use on fiberglass!Yeah, not the same stuff from the '70's, this ceramic formula isn't as good, and has to be applied carefully. Use round fiber cloth applicators, apply on a cool day without direct sunlight. The trick to an even shine is you gotta buff it off while it's wet. If it dries, it streaks and swirls. I used it on a '92 Dodge camper van that had a dull paint job, but don't expect it to look like wet clear coat when finished. Works pretty good on the body, but on the fiberglass bubble top, it came out too light, dusty, with swirls and streaks. Had to remove that. The van is a midtone brown, so if it's on a white car or boat, you probably won't notice the uneven nature of this ceramic formula. Seems today everybody wants to dumb down a product, call it new and improved, give you less then charge you more. Bring back the old formula. Heck, bring back the old price, too...

This is the newer version with ceramic and it does leave a brilliant shine !. Best part is its easy on and off. Just apply by hand with a damp microfiber pad and remove with a microfiber towel. Did remove fine swirl marks. Perfect for a weekend car enthusiast not wanting to pay a car detailer. If it lasts half the amount of car washes they claim would be happy. This is very cost effective for what it does. After i was done could feel the supper slick finish.
