Good size and quality

Bought these for my four year old when he broke the joint on the end of his middle finger. It was a little big, but we made do. He was given one splint at the doctor, but as you can imagine we needed a spare so they could be washed. They held up to his wild self, but the velcro did start rubbing on his other fingers. We realized they were getting kind of raw after a couple weeks.

I owned a different brand of the aluminum finger splint before buying this one. This was less expensive (three different sizes for about the same price as one of the other brand) but it shows in the lesser quality. The splint is sufficiently cushioned and the aluminum part is bendable enough to shape to the finger while being stiff enough to keep the finger joint from bending. However the edges of the aluminum are slightly rough and the spray painted blue finish is also less polished than the expensive brand. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of possibly 4 was that the little velcro straps that close around the splint stick well enough to themselves, but the outer surface sticks like crazy to just about any material with a texture to it. They stick to my hair, they stick to my jersey PJs and cotton T shirts and just about everything except for my cotton bedsheets. The more expensive brand of splint had velcro that stuck to itself when wrapped but that did not stick to anything else. I find this deficiency in the current brand sufficiently irritating that I probably will not buy it again, but will go with the more expensive one.

Fractured my pinky, and these were exactly what I needed. It makes my finger feel so much better. If the foam gets wet it starts to smell, so I highly recommend changing once every week or two.Value for money:Love the extra velcro that comes in the bag.

Does not stay on finger. Falls off easily and causes pain when trying to refit it back on finger. Too bulky.

Excellent finger protection for us clumsy people that cut the tip off our finger while slice veggies. Fit well and is t too obtrusive. Still able to type with banging my finger on everything.
