All of my tools and my pliers rusted out, so I decided to buy the kastking 6pc tool pack as well the medium bag to give them a try. The reviews don’t lie. I am blown away by the weight, feel and overall construction of this set! These knife is bigger than I expected but it’s the nicest I’ve ever had - great bend, ergonomic, and great grip. This is a great value set of fishing tools that should be on all boats. I was happy from the beginning when I opened the box to find the tools neatly packaged.These serrated scissors come with a protective sheath most others don't have this feature. The fillet knife has a large handle that appears to be designed to prevent fatigue when processing fish. Straight out of the box this knife is sharp! It also comes with a protective cover that will allow the knife to dry out when holstered. The pliers are designed for multiple functions, and the jaws meet evenly offering a firm grip. It's nice to have a fish lip gripper on the boat, and this one floats so you don't have to worry about dropping it. Plus there is a unique hole in the handle so you can tie your own lanyard onto it.Today I got to verify that these tools really work. I used the pliers, scissors, grippers, and all worked very well. Later I fillet my catch, and can contest that the knife is sharp with a nice flex to follow the rib cage bones.Great set of tools, at a great price, and with some great design features.

Used these this weekend. Excellent starter kit. All the basics you need to have on hand but not gonna freak out if your kid drops one in the river!

As others have stated, the filet knife holder absolutely is NOT a holder. It falls right out. Considered returning it, but where ill be keeping it in my pack doesnt really affect it. It could be a hazard though so keep that in mind. The rest is great.

Primarly bought thais set for the snap ring plyers, and another set of braid scissors. I have wasted so much buying $5.00 fishing tools and this puts and end to that. High quality, made for fishing, makes this a dandy good value. I was surprised at the feel of the filet knife with a blade guard that is so well designed. The knife handle is perfect for a no slip messy job with a really good blade too. I fish for bass and release them, (don't eat your toys), but a walleye is skillet bound. These braid sicssors cut clean and have a good guard that clicks securely. I bought this set on sale and am tickled. Hope this helps someone. :)

Quality addition to my fishing gear

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. For the products that you get for the price it's an incredible value. The pliers are very nice and useful. The braid scissors that come with the little retractable leash is also very nice. The knife is super sharp and flexes very well the handle fits perfect in your hand and is comfortable and slipresistant. I don't know how long these will last but for the price I'll buy two more sets right now to have as a back up.
