Not for serious kayakers
The quality of the materials used to make this, especially the paddles, is too fragile for serious use. Definitely use an electric pump to blow this up because the manual hand pump will have you exhausted. The canopy is not stable so don't even think about using this on a windy day. I would not use this in area where there are a lot of sticks and sharp stones, I don't believe this could withstand it. It's ok for temporary fun.

Affordable Inflatable Kayak
The seller shipped the kayak right away! Upon arrival, I opened the box and went through the pieces. Right away this kayak looked like my Intex Explorer….but at 1/5 the cost. The pump was an Intex pump! This boat is 95% of my Intex boat. The hull, floor, seat, material..all the same. The only differences are how the seats attach (different buckle), 2 smaller skegs, and the bow/stern spray skirts are attached differently. This kayak has a tent like bimini roof. I wouldn’t paddle with it, but if lying in a lake, I’d leave it on to take a nap!

It's fun and a great entry level Kayak
Our son wanted a little boat or Kayak for fishing in some of the ponds and small lakes near our home. This we a great entry level kayak for him. Unfortunately, it got hooked but it was easy enough to patch up. It takes a while to pump up so we use a portable battery operated pump. I'm not sure how long it will last but it is definitely a great entry level kayak and it looks great too. I think for the price and what all it comes with, it is definitely worth it. Overall I think it is a good product for what it is. 2 thumbs up.

Fun for now, but clearly not built to last
We were enjoying more watersports this summer and wanted to add occasional kayaking to the mix. In looking around, we liked the idea of this one having the canopy, since we all know how easy it is to get burnt to a crisp out on the water. Also, it was reasonably priced, which was nice, since we were not going to be out every weekend. It was a bit of a pain to assemble, since it didn't seem to work with the powered inflator we had. So we had to use the manual pump (that was included, at least). But that will make spontaneous trips out of the lake a little less frequent -- given the effort. Otherwise, it's pretty straightforward how it all comes together. That being said, we had trouble ever getting it to the point that it felt truly fully inflated, without some air escaping. But good enough to be seaworthy, I suppose.Once we were out on the water, it was nice generally, but a couple of things remind you that you get what you pay for. For one, the paddles are really flimsy. I don't think they will make it through too many trips -- and I wouldn't want to stray far from shore with these without having a rescue team ready to get me in a boat. The other is the material of the boat itself doesn't feel all that thick. I just worry that it'll get punctured easier than I would expect. For instance, I wouldn't want my dogs nails testing the impenetrability. So we'll get a few uses with this the remaining bits of summer. But I think if we get serious about kayaking next year, we may go for something that feels heavier duty and built to last.

Ok for kids, but not so much for adults
I really wanted to like this KP Inflatable Kayak 2 Person with Sun Canopy, and it does have some nice features, but overall, it did not work for my family.Pros: This inflatable kayak is large enough to actually hold two adults. The seats are removable and can be moved around a bit and there is a 3rd seat for a small child or pet. The sunshade is a nice touch, although I wouldn't trust it with any kind of wind or even a moderate breeze. This is a great kayak for kids or younger teenagers.Cons: The materials used in this kayak were not what I had expected. I thought it would be made of heavy duty materials similar to most paddle boards, but the materials in this kayak reminded me more of a small inflatable boat that I would buy at the local sporting good store. It took almost an hour to set up this kayak which was problematic because by the time it was ready my kids were already long gone on our paddle boards that could be inflated in less than 10 minutes. The sunshade is a nice touch, but not very sturdy and really only works when the sun is directly above the kayak. The manual pump takes a long time to fill this kayak. I would definitely recommend getting an electric pump to reduce the setup time. The paddles are not very sturdy. Our neighbors also bought one of these kayaks, and after 15 minutes of use by their two teenage daughters, their paddles were already bent enough to notice. The biggest issue for me is that is says it can hold 440 lbs, but that weight needs to be evenly distributed. When I used the kayak with my young sun in the front, the kayak bends and the front sticks up. Any time you have more weight in the back of a kayak than in the front, the front will lift a bit out of the water, but with this one it bent and tilted my son backwards as the front lifted up. The kayak had enough air in it when placed in the water, but as soon as it hit the cool water it caused the air to condense and that resulted in it being under inflated and bending a bit in the middle. That was frustrating after spending an hour to get it setup in the first place.Overall, I was disappointed with this inflatable kayak. It has some good features and I'm sure it would be great for kids or younger teenagers, but I don't think it's a great option for adults due to lower quality materials and weak paddles.

UM... maybe not a serious kayak.
It sits pretty deep in the water, it takes some time to pump up... This ended up being something we put the dogs in and drag behind the paddleboards. I had such high hopes.
