Solid cable, well-made. Works great for a short extension cable. I use it to help brick-style power supplies plug in on closely-packet power strips.It helps keep things that otherwise keep coming unplugged to remain plugged in. And this one doesn't overheat from any of the power I've put through it.

Putting up Christmas lights and plugging them into the outlet with the big clear cover - the extension cord stuck out too far before I could bend it to close the clear cover.This Right Angle adapter to the rescue! I was able to plug this into the outlet, close the cover, and plug the extension cord for the lights into it. And it's heavy duty so it matches the capacity of the extension cord I'm using. Perfect solution to my power problem!Clark Griswold look out!

In my humble opinion, this product is not a good idea, as it can easily be misused to run an appliance off a circuit that was not constructed to support it. Many 15A receptacles are wired with 14ga wire which cannot safely provide more than 25A for prolonged periods. Also, different wire types have different maximum operating temperatures. Problems such as voltage drop on long runs could damage the appliance. Heat generated in the thinner wire by the excessive current could theoretically lead to a fire. Hopefully your circuit breaker will trip before anything bad happens, but in any case be aware of the risk you are taking and use this product with caution.

This extension cord adapter is extremely well made and very functional. Personally though, I'm not sure why a product would be made to plug a 20 amp device into a 15 amp circuit. Some reviewers have over-exaggerated the risk of doing that, however. The electrical systems in buildings are installed with circuit breakers for every circuit. The size of the circuit breaker depends on the wire size used. A circuit wired for 15 amps would have a 15 amp circuit breaker so that if more than 15 amps was being used, the circuit breaker would flip off and shut down the whole circuit. So, if you plug in a 20 amp device into a 15 amp circuit, the circuit breaker would shut down the circuit as soon as more than 15 amps was called for by the device. You won't cause a fire in the wall and burn down your house. Obviously, you do want to use some caution using this thing. I am using it plugged into a lamp to keep the cord against the wall and it works great for that. The product does deserve 5 stars because it is so well made and perfectly functional, but use a little caution when using it with a 20 amp device.

The people at AieSHOP have produced an excellent product, especially for safety and integrity, especiaaly for the price.Their 12 AWG right-angle, 15 Amp household AC plug to 20 Amp T blade power extension cord adapter, for all they list, such as, the nema 5-15P to 5-20R, 5-15P to 6-15R, 5-15P to 6-20R,15A 125V to 20A 250V Their one foot extension cord was all we needed to finish the length needed to plug in our wall mounted, very efficient 10,260 BTU electric heater, with dual heating modes to boot! (also bought on Amazon).We have used said extension cord and heater consistently for now for over two days, with no negative consequences from our 15 amp breaker.Questions, please ask.
