Easy to install, and works well

So I bought 4 of these alarms for 4 different rooms in the house. Upon installing, one of them was defective and never worked. The seller sent a replacement. Ok cool. Then after about 3 weeks, another one of them started going off with false alarms randomly. The batteries are not replaceable and are stated to last 10 years. I contacted the company for help or a replacement. It took them a while to get back to me, and in the meantime about a week later, another one of the alarms in a different part of the house started going off with false alarms. (I replaced these with a different alarm which has not reported problems in those areas of the house.) Meanwhile the company has told me to seek a refund with Amazon, but now we are beyond the 30 day Return Window and the seller has taken no responsibility for this alarm which was stated to have a 10 year warranty. Upon asking the seller about their lack of responsibility for something they stated should last 10 years, they have given no further response. BUYER BEWARE - less than half of the units purchased are still working and it's ONLY BEEN 4 MONTHS. What an irresponsible seller and company. I will be requesting the manufacturer refund, but now I have little faith in this company to keep my family safe.

Needed a new smoke detector. This one works fine.
