We use a lot of electrolytes in my household, my son uses 2 liters a day through his feeding tube. While I can't comment on the taste, since no one in my house drinks it, I can comment of the fact that it's a liquid that doesn't clump or settle and it causes no clogs in his feeding tubes like some of the powders do. One of the things that is important to us is that it keeps his blood sugar stable, some of the other knock offs have too much glucose or not enough and it causes spikes and lows. This product is very effective in providing stable amount of electrolytes continuously. The only thing I don't love about the packaging of this product, is it is filled to the top, like the absolute top. Beware, you will get some on yourself when you open up the top.

WHILE I USED IT FOR COLONOSCOPY PREP, I DID NOT LIKE THE TAST OR COSISTANCY. THE FIRST COUPLE OF CUPS WERE NOT TOO DIFFICULT BUT THE LAST 4 CUPS SEEMED INCREASINGLY THICK AND DIFFICULT TO SWALLOW. I USED THE NO FLAVOR, BUT STILL COULD TASTE IT. IT DID THE JOB IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO BUT I DO NOT PLAN TO USE IT AGAIN ANY TIME SOON.

This actually tastes really good, it's a little sweeter (which I like) than the blue Powerade I always drink, and has a yummy blue raspberry flavor

My mother with dementia struggles to stay hydrated. She rarely drinks unless we remind her or hand her the cup. She also is very sensitive to taste. One moment she will say she like the taste of her water or propel. 5 minutes later she will tell me the same drink is gross.She has never said this is gross which is nice, because it keeps her hydration up. I substitute this for her water on the days she fights taking drinks of anything. If I can get some of this in her system it keeps her on the right track!
